Imagine having a partner who is totally dedicated to your
desire to improve the quality of your life. This is the job of
a professional life and wellness coach.
A coach helps people get from
where they are to where they most want to be.
Types of challenges that
call for a coach:
- Have you ever wanted your life to be better, but
you did not know where to start?
-
- Have you ever set your heart on an
important goal but lacked the focus, skill or
follow through to see it to completion?
-
- Do you have health and wellness
goals: fitness/physical activity choices,
weight loss, weight management, nutrition/food choices, and/or
stress mastery?
-
- Have you ever wanted to be more creative, but you
were unable to tap into and amplify your creativity?
-
- Is something missing? Do you want
to figure out what it is and do something about it?
-
- Would you like some support
and feedback through an important
transition?
-
- Are you a military spouse
who wants more for your professional life?
-
- Do you want to maximize your professional life
without compromising
your quality of life?
-
- Are you considering or have
you just had gastric bypass
surgery? Do you want a system of support
and accountability to maximize your results?
People pursue coaching because
they are ready to make significant changes. Coaches provide
the support, feedback, structure and accountability to facilitate
those changes.
How long does coaching
last?
The client sets the agenda in
coaching. Coaching may be time-limited to work on a specific
agenda item. Coaching may be used to work on a number of
agendas over a longer period.
What coaching is
not
Coaching is not psychotherapy
or counseling, nor is it a substitute for these services.
Coaching is not about diagnosing and treating mental health
conditions.
